Rodent Control
Mice move indoors across Central Illinois every fall, and they fit through gaps as small as a quarter inch. We find how they’re getting in, remove them and close those routes.
Signs you may have mice
- Droppings in cabinets, drawers, basements or along walls
- Scratching or scurrying in walls and ceilings at night
- Gnaw marks on food packaging, wood or wiring
- Shredded paper, insulation or fabric used for nesting
- Greasy rub marks along baseboards where mice travel
How we handle it
- 01
Inspect
A detailed inspection finds activity and the entry points homeowners usually miss.
- 02
Remove
Baiting and trapping matched to where rodents are active in and around your home.
- 03
Seal
We seal entry points with materials that hold up.
- 04
Monitor
We keep checking through the season. Most mice move indoors between October and February.
Good to know
- Ultrasonic repellers aren’t worth the money. There’s little evidence sound drives mice out.
- Cats and dogs catch mice, but they don’t provide effective control.
- Rodents can transmit hantavirus, one more reason not to wait.
- Selling your home? Droppings in a crawl space tend to surface during a walkthrough. We work with realtors, buyers and sellers.
- Mice are also covered by our general pest control plans.
